Hearts rules
Avoid the hearts. 4 to 6 players
Players and cards
Four to six people play, each on their own, with a 52-card deck. With 5, the 2 of diamonds and the 2 of spades are removed; with 6, the 3 of diamonds and the 3 of spades too. From highest to lowest: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10 … 2. There are no trumps.
Points
Points are bad: each heart is worth 1 and the Queen of spades 13. Whoever has the fewest points wins when someone reaches the limit (50, 100 or 150, chosen by whoever creates the room).
Passing cards
Before each hand, everyone passes 3 cards: in the 1st hand to the 1st player on the left, in the 2nd to the 2nd on the left, in the 3rd to the 3rd, and so on; then it starts again.
Tricks
Whoever has the 2 of clubs leads the first trick with it. You must follow suit; if you cannot, play any card, but in the first trick you cannot play hearts or the Queen of spades (unless there is no other choice). The highest card of the suit led wins and the winner leads the next trick.
Hearts broken
You can only lead with hearts after a heart has been played, or if you only have hearts.
Shooting the moon
Whoever takes every heart and the Queen of spades in a hand scores 0 and everyone else gets 26 points.
